The series is set underwater and is interpreted by a group of fishes, each of them shows
features and behaviours typically human.
We have the Crab-vigilant, that regulates the movement of the sea; the Dogfish, who is an
unscrupulous businessfish, the Octopus-chef in the restaurant of the Siren; Cetus who operates
a laundry; Sawfish and Hammerfish, partners in a carpentry; the Blackfish, the pedlar of
the sea; Mullets, dancers in a curtain raiser. Neptune, mayor of sea country, who does not
disdain occasionally some bribe, dominates all the others.
Fishes have a social structure borrowed from humans, but they have to be vigilant in order to
avoid the environmental degradation of the "enemy" who is on surface.

CHARACTERS
Dogfish
Small businessfish, we find it almost always at the factory built with its fins. His working methods are defined "shark" and could not be otherwise.
Dolphin and Dolphine
They are the lovers of the series; cheerful and jovial character, live a love story in the sea and reproduce all the problems of a couple.
The Mullets
Dancers in a curtain raiser; they always play on a small stage of a province theatre. The Mullets are, quite rightly, the artists of the seabed.
Crab
The bobby of the sea; he incessantly patrols the sea to enforce order and legality of which is the depositary.
Hippy Fish
Air vaguely rebellious, a "flower child" who is very little in comparison with the other fishes. Not doing any socially useful activities, he wanders about the sea in search of novelty and adventures.
Octopus
His appearance is truculent and a little filthy; he is the cook in the restaurant of the Siren and participates in job that takes place in the place, where customers are attracted into an undesiderable "mixed fry".
The Postfish
With a classic bag strap, is in charge of keeping communications among fishes, transporting and delivering messages from one part of the sea to the other.
Siren
Bewitching; she softly lies on a rock, plays the zither and attracts passers-by into her restaurant, where, however, they found an unpleasant surprise because the specialty of the house is "fried fish".
Clam
Bewitching and provocative; she usually parks for hours at a hotel where, rhythmically beating his fake eyelashes, launches concerned references to fishes that are leaving.
Cetus
A maternal and protective type, his mole is a reference point and you always find a warm reception there. He also has his own activities "laundry and bathrooms".
The Bureaucrat Fish
He directly reports to mayor Neptune; he follows the complex bureaucracy of the sea country not without a certain obtuse fussiness proper to his profession.
Neptune
He is the mayor of the sea and administers justice settling all matters affecting fishes. Neptune does not disdain, occasionally, some bribe to oil the wheels of costly bureaucracy.
The Blackfish
He is the pedlar of the sea. He wandres with a small strap and offers his goods to the poor inhabitants of the marine sea depths.
Seahorse
He always rides a wave; he is a water-ski instructor driving customers who slip on a small axis clinging to its long bridle.
The Codfish
Ingenuous, good character, credulous; he is the laughing stock of the sea creatures, a predestined victim of a world that is often highly competitive.
Cuttlefish
A playful and a little spiteful girl; she roams in the sea and sprays ink against all those whom she happens to meet. She is always in a good mood and bursts with a great joy.
Ballfish
A quiet and placid type; he is very worried to resemble a soccer ball, that is why he is used by other fishes for Sunday match with consequential, periodic headaches.
Fisherman
The relationship with the world surface is represented by a fisherman who exemplifies itself throughout the conflict between submerged universe and life on the mainland. The Fisherman is certainly the enemy of fishes, but also a reality we must certainly live with.
Sawfish and Hammerfish
Using their specific competence, they have set up an award-winning industry "carpentry and the like".
